Tasty Records, is South Manchester’s destination for high quality vinyl – a stone’s throw away from Altrincham’s award winning High Street!
Founded in 2013, we’ve become a crucial destination point for music heads. Stocking quality pre-loved, hard to find back catalogue items and the hottest brand new tickets – our mantra; we don’t want to sell the most records, we want to sell the best records. New stock is put out everyday – and with regular famous face customers, locals and visitors aplenty – our stock is broad and unique… And not just with Manchester classics!
Specialising in top quality vinyl records to cater to our whole community, Tasty Records is a true independent run by three passionate individuals with a comfortable, unpretentious environment and a wide range of genres (and prices!) sure to please anyone that comes through our door! Our small, friendly and knowledgeable team is made up of avid diggers and DJs – no matter your interests, they’ll help you find what you didn’t realise you were looking for. From the best Nu Disco 12″ releases, to killer reissues of your favourite Rock, hard to find Soul and high quality jazz – you think of it, we stock it. And if we don’t have it, just let us know and we’ll try our best to get it in!
Ten years on, Tasty Records has seen expansions across Altrincham, various website improvements and one big move down Regent Road, and in that time has become more than just a record shop – it’s a success story and a testament to the love of music that has always been central to the Manchester spirit!
