DR DOG – FATE

I’m not sure I’d want a dog as my doctor. Dr. Dog are a Philadelphia band who have been ‘at it’ since the early 2000s. When I say ‘it’ I mean a neat brand of indie rock that delves back to the ‘classic’ era of Big Star and The Beatles whilst brandishing the more contemporary out-thereness of Pavement and Guided By Voices. Fate was their 2008-era album that saw them adding horns and pianos to their sound.
