Benny Sings returns with Beat Tape III on Stones Throw Records, the third release in a series dedicated to sketches, sessions, and small musical experiments. Rather than presenting a set of outtakes, the album documents the informal spaces where his work takes shape, capturing the spontaneity and community behind his songwriting.

Built from chance meetings and improvised sessions, Beat Tape III features contributions that highlight his collaborative range: a jam with Jacob Jeffries of Vulfpeck in Amsterdam, a demo with Grammy-nominated Leven Kali, and a track recorded with Kelsey González of The Free Nationals. Each piece feels like a moment preserved, revealing how ideas, people, and accidents coalesce into songs.
