Released on June 8, 2004, Goodies, Ciara’s debut single (featuring rapper Petey

Pablo) gave listeners their first taste of an up-and-coming superstar artist whose music blended R&B, pop, and dance with signature twists on hip-hop and its sister sub-genre, crunk. The track was penned by Ciara along with Sean Garrett and produced by Lil Jon.
