Melody’s Echo Chamber returns with her fourth album Unclouded, a radiant reinvention of her psychedelic pop sound. While carrying forward the dreamlike spirit of her earlier work, the record embraces change through a striking cast of collaborators.
Swedish composer Sven Wunder co-produces and co-writes, adding his distinctive palette to Melody’s luminous songwriting. Strings from Josefin Runsteen bring a modernist edge, while Dina Ögon’s Daniel Ögren and Love Orsan provide supple grooves. The rhythmic core is powered by Malcolm Catto of The Heliocentrics, with expressive guitar contributions from long-time ally Reine Fiske. Closing track ‘Daisy’ features Leon Michels (Wu-Tang Clan, Clairo, The Carters), whose touch lifts it into sparkling pop territory. Grammy-winning mixer Jens Jungkurth completes the vision, tying together an album that balances freshness with continuity.
