Compiled from two separate drops, it’s a killer cross-section of late ‘60s reggae from the island, pairing the ’67 rocksteady instrumental ‘Swing Easy – originally B-side to The Bases’ ‘River Jordan’, and nodding to ‘Fiddler on The Roof’ OST – with the brassier swag of ‘’Ringo Rock’, a ruder ’66 number charged on deadly bassline, lit with blazing trombone and perhaps beloved from inclusion on the Studio One ‘Scorchers’ suite.
